Frequently asked questions
Are prices before tax?
Yes. Your local taxes are added at checkout.
How does payment work?
Online, with Stripe. The exact amount is shown before you pay. Octyo never sees or stores your card number.
Can I change plans?
Yes, from Settings › Subscription: switch plans or add an app. Your Octyo invoices, payment method and cancellation are managed in the same place.
Who counts as a user?
A member of your team who signs in to Octyo with their own account. Your customers, who open an invoice, a quote or their portal, don’t count. Company devices (till, shared workstation) are not users: they are billed separately, €5 excl. tax per month each, prorated, with a paid plan.
What about AI?
The Claude connector is included in your Octyo subscription. Conversations with Claude fall under your own Claude plan: Octyo doesn’t charge for AI.
What happens to my data if I stop?
It is kept while the subscription is active. When the account is closed, it is deleted on request, except what the law requires us to keep (invoices, for example).
Do I need to install anything?
No. Octyo opens in your browser on a computer, tablet or phone, and installs on your home screen like an app.
